At Scotia Gems, we have generations of tradition and experience to bring our customers the finest
jewelry, gems and precious stones available. From our location in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, we offer a wide variety of stones
– including many agate stones, the official gemstone of Nova Scotia – largely sourced from the shores of the Bay
of Fundy.
Our stones, including labradorites, rubies and tourmalines, are cut and rounded in house, creating spectacular cabochon shapes, which are then polished and ground into sparkling stones perfect for any bracelet, necklace or other jewelry. Our rings, pendants and bracelets are all made by hand at our shop, using sterling silver or gold-filled wire to create the settings. We also offer a selection of men’s jewelry. We are also a member of the Metal Arts Guild of Nova Scotia, and strive for the best customer experience possible with our unique jewelry.
